For many years I worked as an interim HR Director in a variety of companies of all sizes and sectors. As an interim I was never part of the business fabric but always a little to one side as I and the CEO knew there was a point at which I would be leaving. Once trust levels were high many Senior executives saw me as a confidant especially as I had no hidden agenda for the future in that company.

The Quad Academy of Chief Executives provides the support that CEOs really need. In the UK 40 groups of CEOs meet once per month. Each group consists of 15 CEOs from non-competing businesses. The agenda for their meeting is firstly to listen to a leading speaker on a subject of business interest including debate and training, then after lunch to work on business issues that face each CEO. How good to have 14 other great brains to work on your business issue in absolute confidence.
