Our client is currently seeking an experienced Maximo SCM and PM consultant to join their Malta-based team to deliver project and support work to customers mainly in the Oil & Gas Industry in North African and Middle Eastern countries.  The selected candidate will be based in Malta and will travel to customer locations as required.

Responsibilities:

·         Analyse and document customer requirements

·         Conduct Maximo installations and upgrades related principally to Maximo Version 6.2

·         Participate in solution architecture design

·         Perform application and solution development to meet project requirements

·         Develop and document detailed technical designs to meet business requirements

·         Manage multiple technical environments and support the development and testing processes

·         Lead or assist in data conversion and migration efforts

·         Configure Maximo and assist in the development of interfaces to external systems

·         Identify areas of customization and optimization and provide solutions that meet the business requirements

·         Conduct system testing as necessary

·         Assist clients in implementation of internal procedures

·         Assist sales team in preparing focused demos

·         Assist users as necessary in support of go-live activities

·         Provide post go-live support including issue logging and resolution

·         Provide end-user training

Skills/Experience Required:

·         Minimum 2 years Maximo experience in Supply Chain Management and Preventive Maintenance

·         Minimum 2  years hands-on experience in a technical position with the implementation and utilization of fully integrated enterprise asset management (EAM) system

·         Ability to convert functional requirements into technical specifications and configure, tailor and/or customize the solutions including building interfaces

·         Ability to create and update advanced technical documentation

·         Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a project team environment

·         Good numerical analysis

·         Strong project team experience with multiple successful Maximo project implementations

Coding/development experience with:

o Interface writing

o BEA WebLogic application server
o Windows 2003 server operating system
o XML
o PL SQL
o Oracle 9i or later
o MS SQL Server
o Report Writers: Actuate, SQR, Crystal
