Due to expansion my client is looking for a Service Delivery Manager.
You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the delivery of the interactive development programme. This includes the prioritisation and maintenance of the delivery roadmap through the co-ordination of all requirements, initiatives and opportunities with the business owners. Clear communication of progress to delivery and programme risk, including service delivery management and on-going management of service level agreements. In addition this role is responsible for the successful delivery and implementation of the overall programme including user acceptance testing and executive sign off.
Key Responsibilities
· Ownership (service provisioning into the P&L owners) of the overall development programme and roadmap for the interactive division (in line with CAPEX budget)
· Responsible for the smooth and effective execution of the interactive development roadmap projects across all channels/product verticals.
· Works with business leads to capture and validate all requirements pertaining to development projects
· Responsible for managing and monitoring all SLA targets, performance KPI’s for technology partnerships.
· Ensure that any SLA breaches are investigated, reported on and the appropriate corrective action is taken to improve service delivery.
· Ensures that all projects are thoroughly acceptance tested and signed off by business sponsor prior to moving to production.
· Build strong and productive relationships with key business stakeholders including all external technology providers
· Direct line management for team of 2 including objective setting and day to day management
· Ensure timely, concise and effective communication with the business for service outage, service interruption and service improvement
· Produce regular updates on CAPEX spend, agreed and pipelined projects, including forecasts of outcome and realisation of business benefits (PIRs)
· Provides senior business stakeholders with regular updates on the progress on all development project including risk registers, costs to budget, timelines, etc.
· Work with senior management to negotiate changes to major technology/support contracts as and when required
· Available to manage fault escalation procedures and first point of contact for all service delivery issues
· Owns capacity forecasting, tracking, communication and reporting to all relevant internal and external teams as appropriate
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
· 5-10 years of experience working in similar roles at a senior level within Commercial/IT delivery for large scale internet business(es)
· Experience of managing significant capital projects
· Experience of managing SLA with third party technology partners
· Online gaming industry experience preferred although not essential
· Experience of managing development roadmaps within a high change, highly matrixed business or channel where active prioritisation is required at all times
· Strong customer skills and experience in leveraging marketing research and usability data to drive site development
· Strong financial/analytical skills to deliver business cases and PIRs
· IT literate with the ability to quickly learn and optimise new system environments (both internal, 3rd party and the interfaces between)
· Experience of effectively managing a network of internal and 3rd party relationships to achieve business outcomes
· Ability to work effectively as part of both small teams and larger formal groups
· Strong project management/programme management skills
· Strong understanding of finance and critical business processes including CAPEX, OPEX, procurement, vendor management, budgeting and forecasting.
