We are pleased to announce our grand finale for the Speakers' Events this year. Our last speaker for 2011 is John Cremer, who will be delivering a session at the Corinthia San Gorg on Thursday 24 November between 08.30 and 12 noon entitled:
Reading Someone Before You Shake Hands
This is an ancient system of knowledge taught purely by oral transmission for millennia. The stream can be traced in the works of the early Greeks, Gothic Masons, Shakespeare, the Gypsies, medieval alchemists and the Sufis. It embodies the Hermetic principle "As above so below" - the microcosm reflects the macrocosm and vice versa.
The system was only written down in the 1950's and taught covertly. It is known and used by - at most - a few hundred people in the UK. Experienced practitioners can read a person at a deep level from across a room in seconds. However, applying the knowledge to one's self requires a lifetime!
Overview
Humanity is composed of seven basic "types". Each type is uniquely suited to flourish in its original environment. At a simple level the analogy is the make and model of a car. Land Rovers function better in the African bush than E Type Jaguars, for example.
One's type is reflected in the physical characteristics of the body which gives this system part of its power. It is only necessary to observe certain physical clues to gain insight into the psychological strengths and weaknesses of an individual.
Session Content
The system is revealed in a clear and precise manner. Each type is explored in detail using many examples from history and contemporary culture. We look at the ideal occupations for each type and also their worst possible jobs. The group creates the ideal company using the system and also the precise recipe for business failure which can be just as useful to know! The relationships which arise naturally between types are addressed. Each delegate has the option to discover their own type and look at the implications in their personal and professional life.
Time and willingness permitting, we use role play and improvisation to experience the nature of one's type. There is a strong thread of humour running through the session, nothing is funnier than human nature!
Be assured that:
- Each delegate comes away with practical knowledge of the system and the potential applications
- The number of "Ahas" can be extraordinary
- For most people this information is fascinating, for some it is life changing
- This system can put into concrete terms, insights we have but do not have a context for
- On a personal level people come to greater acceptance of themselves and others
- Once we see how much influence one's type has it becomes easy to let go of expecting others to be different
- Professionally the amount of money and energy one can save when we find the right type for the job is enormous
The speaker has twenty years of experience with Human Archetypes. He uses it daily in his training work and has added his own observations to the process. John spent seven years with his teacher James Westly before being allowed to teach. James had lived in a residential esoteric school which validated the information by observing two thousand people living and working together.
